Craft Society
​
We are a creative duo aiming to make folk and heritage craftwork accessible to New Yorkers. We host weekly workshops for friends and strangers to come together and create. We also host private events, parties and brand collaborations.
Our Story​
​
We met in April 2024 at our mutual friend’s birthday party on a trampoline and instantly meshed. We spent an hour getting to know each other between jumps and catching our breath. As if it were fate, we discovered that we shared the same Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood. That week, we met over pancakes for dinner and Craft Society was born!
Crafts

We use the term “craft” very loosely and inclusively. Craft is something passed down through generations- our grandmothers taught us how to knit and sew as young girls. It also relates to utility; we want our guests to leave with an object they are proud of, and will use in their daily lives.
Community
​​
We welcome everyone! There have been many friendships (and romances) formed through Craft Society. Don’t be afraid to come alone, our community is always so welcoming and kind.
